that really sucks. Did you hit a pothole? I know some cities, and or states will provide $$ for the damage.

I know a russian guy in ny that will fix that for like 50-60 bucks. Hes amazing, i bent my amg rim way worse than that and he fixed it in like an hour and a half

that much wheel damage and no flat? or did u replace the tire?


hurry and go take a picture of the pothole.


i filed 3 claims against san francisco, berkeley, and caltran (later defered to contracted construction company). needed new tire, alignment. should've gotten new wheels too (2 i found out 2 years later they were slightly out of round)...but oh well. anyway, i went to the city hall in each case and said i wanted to file a claim against the city (and caltran since it was on a highway). all 3 paid the claim. although sf got cheap on me and took off 50 bucks a tire (for two) cause they had 10k miles on them

just get the pics of the pothole, that picture in ur post, the claims form, all repair receipts (and purchase receipts)....make photocopies of everything ur sending in...and u should be good. they may give u claim number to refer to.

In this instance, a friend put a dent in my rim against a curb when he misjudged the entrance to a gas station. So I have nothing to claim against the city...
