2000 C230 Kompressor
Wheel and tire combo question

I will be getting a 2000 C230 Kompressor sometime in the summer. I have searched a lot of the posts on this topic from the archives, and it seems as though the general consensus is to go with 18 inch wheels. If I went with the 18's it seems as though the recomended tire size is 225/40/18. Is it possible to step up to 45, or are there issues with that.

Could I go 45 on a 17 inch rim.

Anybody have any experience with Enkei rims?

I know these questions have probably been asked a million times....what can I say, I'm a newb.

If you go with 17" wheels, you should use 225/45/17 & 245/40/17. If you go with 18" wheels, you should use 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 tires.

I dont think Enkei has the correct bolt pattern/fitment for Mercedes. They are mostly for Japanese cars.

The 225/45/17 & 225/40/18 is for the front and rear.

245/45/17 & 255/35/18 is rear only.
