E Coupe 18 inch AMG Rims Cracked, Should I repair them?
Hi there, I'm new to this forum. Last night, I ran over a rock and my rims cracked. These rims were installed last night and they got cracked within 2 hours of installation, arghhhhhh. Just wondering what you guys think; should I repair them, get it welded or should I buy a new rim?
Surprisingly, the tyres were completely fine with no damage. I drove with them while they were semi flat for 3-4 kilometres, but they seem fine, just some sidewall rubbing with loss of the Michelin branding. I went ahead to get it welded to see how things are, its cheap anyways. Had it welded for 120USD. We'll see how everything goes. If not, I guess I'll have to get a new rim. So gutted, only had these rims on for a few hours and they got busted.
