Smile Can I use different tyre brands on front/rear axles

Hi all,
Im new to the forum and I'm sure this question has been asked before but didn't want to spend ages sifting through old threads.
I have a C-class coupe C205, bought as an approved used vehicle around 6 months (3500 miles ago) it came with two brand new Bridgestone Potenza s001 on the rear axle to match the approx 4.5mm worn Bridgestone's on the front, all on 18" rims.
The front tyres are getting to the point of needing replacing but I'm not a fan of Bridgestone tyres I don't like there lack of wet whether grip (front understeer), I'd prefer to fit Michelin Pilot Sport 4 instead but not sure if this could cause handling problems only replacing the two front tyres and using mixed tyre brands on front/rear axles, I do intend to fit the same spec Michelin's on the rear axle when the Potenza's need changing but this won't be for some time.
Has anyone had any experience with mixing tyre brands and any issues?
Thanks,
