replacing runflats

I have a 2018 ecab400. it has Goodyear 245/45R 18's. They say "made in Germany" Can I replace them with "non runflats" and what brands are available. Tire Rack says that Goodyear and Michelin do not make this size; could that be right?

Honestly, I'd say to replace them with non-runflat tires.. The normal (non-runflat) tires make less noise while driving, the sidewall is less stiff so the ride is more comfortable and I have found that runflat tires always wear unevenly on these (Mercedes) cars. Replace the tires and get an alignment. However, you have to keep in mind that your car doesn't have a spare tire so if something does happen and you get a flat tire, you will be calling a tow truck.

Racin Fool. Can you make a recommendation for a non run flat for the E400?

Do you recommend a tire brand to replace the Goodyears? I would also like to get away from the run flats.

Ditched my 2nd set of run flats finally (pirellii and then continental...and car has just 26K miles on it). Used the research tables on Tire Rack and went with their top choice for the GLC: BF Goodrich Advantage T/A. Eeerily quiet, and pleasingly cost effective (paid less than $700).
