Possible Air Suspension Problem
Hello Group
I am looking for some guidance please.
I have a Mercedes Benz ML 320 CDI 2008 model.
My car seems to be dropping in the front, no distinct side, the whole front.
It doesn't happen all the time. I can leave it for a week then nothing happens.
I cant hear any air leaking from the shocks but not sure what it is or where to start looking.
Any advice please.

Hi Duma
From the sound of things it could either be leaking shocks or a front valve block problem.
Sometimes the solenoids on the valve block become sticky which means that they don't close properly and then the air leaks out through the valve block.
I have an E Class and I took my car to a company called KZN Air Shocks.
They are based in Ballito, KZN.
I am not sure in which area you are but maybe give them a call and see if they can help.
Their number is 0822944419. www.kznairshocks.co.za
Would be interested to know what the outcome is.

Hello Barry
I did contact those people at KZN Air Shocks.
They did an assessment and found that the valve block was sticky. Shocks were all fine.
Replaced it, no problem.
Now my car is running again and does not go down at night.
Thank you for the details.
