W124 Strut Replacement
Hi All, new member/owner here. I'm coming from the Jeep world and looking for just a bit of assistance.
I just purchased a 1994 E320 and I"m looking to do some general maintenance to get it in the best shape I can.
I know It needs new shocks/struts up front, an oil change, valve cover gasket and I'm sure more.
I'm wanting to order the struts up front and everything I'll need to do the job but different sites are indicating I'll need different things. I was looking at these: W0133-1910539 from PartsGeek But they show I'll need a Strut kit (#124 990 00 99 Mounting Kit) and the part number doesnt show up on their site.
Has anyone who's done this job got some insight as to exactly what tools and parts I'll need to get this job done right the first time?
Thanks!

It's a pretty simple job that can be completed with basic hand tools, breaker bar and jack stands. Probably one of the more simple W124 projects. I would opt for Bilstein's and if the struts are that bad I would also replace the rubber mount, stop bumper and boot.
