245/35-20 on W212?
Hi guys.
Been trying to find out regarding this, because I just bought some new Zito 20" rims. Now I am going to order som tyres, and found a good deal on 245-35-20.
When I add the data in an online tyre calculator and compare it to the original tyre dimension (245 - 40 - 18) I get about 4% deviation.
I thought this was an acceptable deviation, but before I ordered I wanted to check online. I found one post on this forum which didn't seem to positive, but the discussion took a turn towards modifying something on the car which I'm not interested in.
Then I decided to double check with my local Mercedes dealer/workshop, who said that as long as the deviation is under 5% it is fine.
Could anyone confirm one of the two for me? If it won't work then I will just go with 245-30-20.
