Brake Decals
If anybody is wondering about the heat resistant caliper decals available and how they turn out, here's some pics. Before and after:

Probably what you don't want hear. But it looks like the decal adhered well to the cast surface, but there is no curve to the text. From the picture, it looks like it is superimposed on the caliper. My wife has the same car as you do, and my sister has the mid-year '04 C230 that comes with the larger front brakes and the CLK type caliper. There is no comparision.
