What profile to use?

What profile to use?
I'm looking to mount wheels from a 211...16x8 et36 to a 97 210 chassis.
The problem is that the stock tires, 215/55/16 are too narrow for a 16x8
wheel....so it looks like i have to go to a 225/55/16,but i'm concerned about
rubbing,because a 225 tire is 4/10 of an inch larger...but if i go with a
225/50/16...the tire will be 4/10 smaller....so which size should i go with.
Is anyone on the forum using a 225/55....and do you get rubbing...and is anyone using a 225/50

I also went with 225/55...with no rubbing at all...the ride is a lot better
