Where on earth do these go? Parking brake clips S Class

I have been working on the brakes on my W221. The Mercedes OE parking brake shoes had two of these in the box (one each side..) among the new springs etc included.

Indeed old ones fell out each side from the area the parking brake pivot mechanism sits. But, despite close examination of all the parts I could not for the life of me work out where the clips were supposed to go! I even tried a few Indy garages before I re-assembled my brakes. No clue. One guy however said he was doing the job on an SL recently and he was the same as me. No clue and like me he had tried youtube etc.

Anyone?

Looks similar to this clip from this thread:https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ml#post8391151
Here is another thread but probably not the same thing, plus it is on a different car: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post8418012

Thanks for turning that up for me. However, (not your fault..) I still cant entirely grasp where it'd clip into This is certainly showing it, it just isn't easy to see exactly what it's doing!

Edit- Aha (I think) I see one side is pressing onto the bigger of the two main parking brake shoe springs. So I partly get it..!

You are welcome! Glad to help, sorry to hear that it was confused but I am also glad to hear you figured it out at the end.
