Hey guys. As some of you guys know, I sold my CCW earlier this year to pick up a set of LM's that I found. I thought I was over the speed thing after hitting the track and getting some good times. I thought it was time to relax and cruise now. Boy was I wrong...
Well...I ended up buying the wheels and only had them on the car for 3 weeks because I was going out to a track event at buttonwillow. This was back in April of this year. Took them off and never put them back on. I love being on 18's too much! I love not having to worry about pot holes and the in your seat feeling is a lot more apparent with the smaller wheels. I LOVE the way the car looks but I think I finally realize I am over the "show" side of this car and more of a "go" guy.
Just a FYI...If you are extremely lowered and drive in Sport II all the time, you will most likely rub(I'm talking about the rear on a W211). I drove the car in the Comfort setting and never had any issues with rubbing. I think you would be fine with a 285/25/20 but don't quote me on it, by no means am I a tire expert but that is just my opinion. I'm sure it's possible to run a more
aggressive spacer up front given that you go with a smaller tire size. Your
car.
SO....these babies have to go so I can make room for some lightweight, forged wheels for when I go to the track and for everyday.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 255/30/20F 85%-90% tread left (Wheels came off a CLS
hence the tire size)

hence the tire size)
BBS Red center caps
2 12mm spacers for the front wheels
2 hub rings for the rear wheels
20 chrome bolts included.

Sun, They look great. I understand the feeling with the 20's. I went with 19's instead which is a bit of a combination of performance and looks. Best of luck with your sale.

Great seller, easy to deal with if anyone is seriously on the fence about picking these up from Sun. The transaction will be easier than putting the LMs on your car!

Someone make me an offer. I want these gone! They are just sittin in the garage!
I have a set I have in mind. They will definitely be 18's. More variety for R-compound tires for track use.
IF for some reason, I can't get them, then I'll have to start lookin around again...

FWIW, I ran 285/25/20 Nitto Invos on the rear of my car on a 20x10 inch wheel. Sport II, slammed, ZERO rubbing. I would like to add that Nittos tend to run skinnier than other brands(At least that's what I hear).
