Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Bought car Sept. 2013 because I wanted an AMG to drag race and track. As time goes on the emphasis will be on track ability.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Dry K & N filters
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
W/T: 255s in the rear (245 stock),
Brakes: EBC Yellows, SS brake lines, Motul 600 brake fluid. Custom vent holes in front wheel well to feed air to front brakes. Factory windshield washer jug removed/replaced with smaller universal washer jug and motor to allow air to pass through to brakes.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Int: Radio delete with custom double din blank plate. Looks like large touch screen. CD changer delete, rear seat delete, rear deck sound deadener removed, subwoofer and speaker delete, next materials and panels installed to make things look nice. ~175 pound reduction.
Ext: Blacked out grill/professionally painted. Hood flat badge. black w/chrome star center caps. Fog lamp delete with custom made grill vents that look factory.
Future Modifications:
Have and awaiting install by me before March 2014: AMS shorty headers, AMS crank pulley.
In progress: tasteful buy extreme weight reduction.
Other 2014 mods expected: Some type of new intake setup. Will be relocating the battery to the rear so may try to run a CAI setup to the battery compartment but will need to create a new way to pipe air to the A/C & Heat blower motor. Possibly a modified (by me) carbon fiber hood with low profile cowl induction.
When the time is right/good deals come along: SLK or CLK brakes, fatter sway bars, coil overs, a custom "little bit" wider body with new custom wheel arches to get the car lower and front tires ~245/255 wide and rear around ~285/295 wide.
All modifications and body work will be done by me.
