I had a friend weld about 7 or 8 small spots (called tack welds) around the throttle body to connect a bit of aluminum intake pipe with a lip. A lot of heat can get transferred from the welding process into the throttle body and damage it, so I wanted to avoid anything more than a few quick spot welds Afterwards I sealed up the new throttle body modification with a healthy layer of jb weld
