The gas still uses the same plastic pedal, we just drilled, and tapped the metal and screwed it on top. I just had to angle it a bit so it can go WOT with out any interferences. The hardest part is my tap and die set is in metric and NOBODY carries metric drill bits! So i just got as close as i could with standard and it worked
