You should have a nice stream. Eventually all the small air bubbles will go. The coolant level will drop slightly as the air is pumped out. Check it every minute. I ran it for 4-5 minutes. If you pinch with your fingers the lower return line you clamped off (with the clamp now off) you can feel the bubbles flowing through it if there are any still.
