A Stunning Power Boost

The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S, with its original 595bhp and 174mph top speed, is already a powerhouse. However, German tuner Manhart has taken this performance SUV to new heights with their GER 800 project. The powertrain, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, now delivers a staggering 789bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This impressive uplift is achieved through enhancements such as upgraded turbos, an additional electric compressor, and the MHtronik ECU. This transformation marks an increase of 186bhp and 150 Nm over the standard model, mirroring the specs of competitors like the Brabus 800 SUV Coupe.

Enhanced Sound and Exhaust

Manhart ensures that the GER 800's power is complemented by a thunderous exhaust note. The new set of downpipes, which unfortunately can't be used in Germany due to strict TÜV regulations, and the OPF-Delete Sport downpipes paired with two 300-cell catalytic converters create a more aggressive and louder exhaust. These modifications not only enhance the vehicle’s performance but also amplify its road presence through auditory means.

Striking Visual Upgrades

The GER 800 is not just about what's under the hood. Its exterior modifications ensure it stands out. The carbon fiber widebody kit designed by TopCar Design includes wide fender extensions and inserts for the front and rear bumpers, along with an extended ducktail spoiler and vented hood. The display car features a matte dark green bodywork with yellow decals, providing a stark contrast and enhancing the SUV’s visual appeal.

Sleek and Lowered Stance

The SUV rides on massive 23-inch Manhart Concave One alloy wheels, finished in satin black with yellow trim. To improve handling and aesthetics, Manhart has tweaked the air suspension, lowering the ride height by an additional 30mm. Alternatively, a similar drop can be achieved with new coupling rods. This lower stance not only improves the car’s aerodynamics but also gives it a more aggressive look.

Luxurious Interior Touches

Inside, the GER 800 continues the theme of luxury and performance. The interior is adorned with yellow stitching that contrasts with the black Alcantara and leather upholstery. Manhart emblems are prominently displayed on the headrests and floor mats, while carbon fiber inserts add a touch of sophistication. These interior enhancements ensure that the GER 800 is as stylish and comfortable on the inside as it is striking on the outside.

Cost and Availability

While Manhart has not disclosed the full cost of the GER 800 package, they offer a separate performance kit for the GLE 63 S priced just under €20,000. For those interested in the GER 800’s comprehensive suite of upgrades, contacting Manhart directly is recommended to explore the various options available. This makes the GER 800 a highly customizable and exclusive performance SUV, catering to those who seek both power and distinction on the road.
