Rare Roadsters: SL Mille Miglia, SLS AMG GT Final Edition For Sale
Forget about risking big money buying a rare Mercedes-Benz, because these two beauties are being sold by the manufacturer themselves.
Real Thing
Oftentimes, buying rarely used cars can be risky. We've seen plenty of fake, copycatted rides out there in the world that look like the real thing. But at least you know that when you purchase a vehicle from Mercedes-Benz's All-Time Stars service, you're getting the real thing. They also just so happen to be selling two incredibly rare roadsters right now as well.

Final Edition
The first ride of the rare pair is this SLS AMG GT Final Edition. One of just 350 produced, this one is up for grabs with an asking price of $488,575. These last cars produced consisted of both roadsters and coupes and were special for more reasons than their finality.

Styling Cues
All Final Edition SLS cars received a handful of styling cues that set them apart from "regular" ones. They included a unique carbon-fiber hood with a central air outlet, a carbon-fiber front splitter, a fixed carbon-fiber rear wing reminiscent of the SLS AMG Coupe Black Series, and a set of exclusive AMG forged light-alloy wheels.

Less Lift, More Cool
The Final Edition cars were coated in an optional Designo Magno graphite matte paint, with a gloss black rear apron for contrast. Mercedes claims that all of these added body pieces helped to increase downforce, reduce lift, cool the engine, and optimize the car for track use.

Last of the Breed
Perhaps more importantly, all Final Edition cars came packing a more powerful M159 V8 from the AMG SLS GT that produces 583 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. And that makes them the very last Mercedes SLS' to feature a naturally-aspirated V8 before they were replaced with a twin-turbo mill.

Reasonably Priced
Our second Mercedes roadster up for grabs is even rarer than the vaunted Final Edition SLS AMG GT. This SL 320 Mille Miglia is one of just 12 produced to celebrate the legendary Italian open-road endurance race. And it can be yours for the rather reasonable asking price of $73,293.

Support Team
Mille Miglia was one of the more celebrated races of its kind, running from 1927 to 1957. It was reborn in 1977, this time as a classic rally that allows only pre-1957 racers to participate. These dozen special SLs were built specifically by Mercedes as support vehicles for those vintage racers.

Unique but Normal
Thus, there's nothing else particularly special about these cars. They're otherwise essentially stock, this one finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic paint with a Black Napa leather interior. Regardless, it's in fantastic condition and comes with quite the story to tell.

Badges Galore
Of course, you will find a number of badges that differentiate this SL from all the others out there in the world. That includes one on the trunk, one on each door, unique door sills, and a special placard in the interior touting the car's rarity.
