There’s certainly no questioning the popularity of the W205 platform built under the C-Class. However, with every good car also comes some criticism, as highlighted in a recent MB World post by Luton Driver titled, “So what do you hate about your W205?

For Luton Driver, it’s the sound quality of the audio 20 radio and media system. “I hate it and as someone who lives with the music on it is really spoiling the whole C Class experience for me with its cheap and nasty sound that sounds no better than my £20 bedside radio,” wrote the Junior Member.

But based on most of the comments, five of the most hated things about the car lie in the following features, listed in no particular order:

  1. Seat Belt Chime – “I hate seatbelt alarm when I drive around my driveway to get mail …No need to put my seatbelt on for that…” – Gungaslow
  1. Heat/Air Conditioner Fans – “Even if the car is warm it takes 5 – 7 minutes for the fans to come on.” –RemmyZero
  1. Heated Steering – “…The only complaint I have.” – BlackC400
  1. Parking Sensors – “The driver assistance warnings when there is nothing there, too often.” – Bartola
  1. Engine – “The turbo lag/slow down shifting along with a rear end that doesn’t inspire confidence is kind of disappointing. To tell you the truth, I expected more from a ‘Sport’ model.” – MASSC300

Have you found anything disappointing about the W205 C-Class?
