ADV.1 Benz Shows the Lighter Side of the G-Wagen

These days it seems all Mercedes-Benz G-Classes have turned over to the dark side, which is understandable, seeing as Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is so near. But the obsession with matte black and matte dark gray that has heavily taken over the boxy wagons, like anything, has started to get stale and feel overdone. That’s why it was refreshing to see this brighter G-Wagen come across the feed.

A collaboration between Toyz Auto Art in Montreal and ADV.1 Wheels, this 2013 G63 AMG appears to be in a satin silver or light gray to match what ADV.1 calls brushed gunmetal wheels. The wheels are the ADV7.0 MV2 model and 22 x 10.5s all around.

The badging and different exterior styling also indicates that a BRABUS Widestar kit was used, as well. ADV.1 doesn’t specify any performance numbers, but if this owner upgraded the carpet to match the drapes, then you’re looking at a 620-horsepower beast with 604 lb-ft of torque. That should put those wheels to work right away.
