“Awesome Awe” Sprinter Will Draw You Outside and Keep You There

The folks at Outside Van are some of the best in the country at building ultimate adventuremobiles. The Oregon-based company is all about living life in a simple manner and away from the chaos of an urban atmosphere.

Although the simplest way to do that is to just go out into the wilderness with next to nothing, like you’re practicing for the show Naked and Afraid, that just ain’t realistic. Even a large percentage of the people who enjoy the nomad life or love the outdoors still don’t like to be outdoors at all times. And that’s where RVs and vans come into play. If outfitted correctly, they’re little sanctuaries. Outside Van uses the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 as their base, and then they build incredible machines from there. And you all know how much we love Sprinter vans around here.

This particular build is called the “Awesome Awe,” and to be completely corny, it is freakin’ awesome. Completely customized by a customer (as all of these vans are), the “AA” has a huge list of amenities. It has a two-person bed, a fridge, a small kitchen with a stove, cabinets, a bathroom, custom upholstery, a ski rack, LED lights, air conditioning, and room for mountain bikes. That’s all wrapped up in an awesome grayed-out exterior with a roof rack, a turtle top, massive off-road tires, and a brush guard.

This thing will take you anywhere and then safely keep you there, if you’re up for the challenge.
