Vath’s Version of the E63 AMG S-Model is Insane
I’ve never thought that the 577 horsepower pumped out by the E63 AMG S-Model is not enough. Apparently, the guys over at Vath tuning have, and figure the car needs a 28-percent boost.
Those shiny letters on Mercedes-Benz trunk and hatch lids are about to look a lot different. Also, an update on the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
Kleemann modified the turbos, upgraded the ECU, added a better flowing exhaust system, increased the size of the intercoolers, and did a whole host of other subtle changes. The effect? 850 horsepower and 970 lb-ft of torque. Brilliant!
The W205 C63 AMG is set to use the brand-new 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that the AMG GT uses. It’s supposed to be more powerful, more efficient, and overall, just a better car … but there is just something missing: noise.
It’s time to celebrate the rarity that is a Benz-badged five-door harbinger of burnt rubber. Just a few days back, member “Z_de_Suisse” managed to squeeze a lovely, bone-stock, E63 AMG station wagon into his estate. How’s that for a wagon pun?
