Mercedes-Benz Developing GLC Coupe?

Production of the new GLC is set to start in 2016. It will be a five-door crossover SUV featuring an angled roof similar to the one featured on the BMW X6. However, Mercedes  doesn’t intend to compete with the X6, however. The new GL Coupe will supposedly compete in the market of another BMW vehicle, the supposed BMW X7, along with the Audi A9.

The GLC may prove to be appealing in the Chinese and American market. However, the accuracy of the report remains to be seen since it remains unconfirmed.

The reported new vehicle may feature numerous engine options together with the nine-speed automatic transmission of Mercedes-Benz. If the new GL coupe will be introduced by the company, it is expected to come out of the Tuscaloosa factory of the company in Alabama. It may be released by the company by 2015.
