Mercedes-Benz ML-Class Escapes Destruction
You’ve probably seen those commercials for the new ML, driving through what looks like a scene from Mad Max, avoiding obstacles as chaos and destruction unfold from every angle. This video shows the real-world example of that. You can’t plan better placement, as the ML appears to stand as a monument of safety and serenity. You would never guess it when the crash starts to happen, but somehow it appears fine.
Plowing into parked cars proves one of two things: you’re either an idiot, or a colossal idiot. This crash resulted in the offender’s car landing on its roof in the sort of way that usually happens in video games, but as this car slams into an Acura, then a Kia, and finally a Harley, it comes to a stop after sliding on its roof, right next to the ML-Class that was spared a horrible fate.
Perhaps divine intervention? Pure luck? As the video shows, an Acura TSX took the brunt of the hit, shearing off one of the front wheels from its hub, and pushing the car over several meters onto the curb, where thankfully no one was standing. It’s one of those videos that makes you say “wow”.
