If you are looking at a G500 that is more than a few years old, you’ll find some equipment and features that are missing. After all, Mercedes has dedicated the past few years to upgrading and modernizing this ancient SUV to niche luxury levels. But there is a company that aims to change the perception of the old ones. They are called Carbon Motors, and they are based out of Bulgaria. Take from that what you will, but the work they have done to this old G-wagen is astounding.

Most attention has been paid to the interior, where pretty much every surface has been touched by a new layer of very high quality leather. The dashboard, steering wheel, and shifter have all been treated by the new material, but the highlight remains the seats. A unique stitch, similar to a baseball, has been adopted for the seating areas. It really brings a new and modern touch, especially with the carbon fiber treatments. On the exterior, it looks like you’ll get new fenders and a wheel/tire combo, but we have yet to hear from Carbon Motors on exactly what type of equipment is included. Regardless, it’s a great way to dress up an older G-wagen.
