S65 AMG Debuts With Massive Engine

Mercedes has taken the veil off AMG’s latest S-Class Cabriolet, and it’s a whopper. The S65 AMG has 20-inch forged wheels, a 0-62 mile per hour time of just 4.1 seconds, and is capable of hitting 186 miles per hour. The twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine churns out 621 horsepower between 4,800 and 5,400 rpm. It is the big convertible Mercedes AMG of your dreams.
What hasn’t been released just yet is the pricing for the big Benz. It’s likely though that the price tag for the new S65 AMG Carbiolet will reach above $150,000, given that the standard S-Class Cabriolet will retail for around $130,000. Pricey, perhaps, but honestly, what more do you need from a car? It has class, style, luxury, and now a thumping-great engine to propel you to ludicrous speeds.
