Seven Reasons to Own a Mercedes-Benz Motorhome

You know that friend who loves to pop into conversations with a random quip that is only mildly related to the topic at hand, and then after that side remark is made, it’s all you can think about? I found myself dealing with that same issue as I was reading through a thread about headroom in the new C-Class when it’s equipped with the panoramic roof. Just four posts in, True101, the man that started the thread, pipes up that his Mercedes Sprinter has spoiled him in the headroom department.

And you know what? He is totally right. Do you even know how many reasons there are to own a super luxury machine like a Mercedes Sprinter? Oh, my friends, let me count the ways…

  1. Headroom is a pointless measurement until you can actually stand up and stretch inside of your cabin. You get seven-plus feet of vertical space in the Sprinter.
  2. An MB motorhome makes the perfect location to sleep when you step out of the bar to the sad realization that you have had a few too many. The neck cramp you get from waking up after a few hours in the back of a C-Class is not worth the price of admission.
  3. Most MBs are nicer and better equipped than a standard hotel room. Just skip the middle-man and put that saved cash towards your payment.
  4. When you go visit your in-laws, a small motorhome makes for the perfect escape pod. Just fake some ailment, and instead of lying down in the other room where you can still hear the in-laws, just retreat to your cocoon of German luxury.
  5. It makes a sweet set of wheels to take as a SCUBA diving support rig.
  6. If you get the interior setup right, you can put a motorcycle inside of it.
  7. It will make the perfect mobile mansion when the zombie apocalypse starts. Plus, all the heavy wood and metal in the interior makes it ideal for creating heavy bludgeons.

What do you guys think? What other reasons can you think of to own an MB motorhome? I know there are probably dozens of good reasons out there.
