Flared fenders, front and rear. Upgraded brakes. Huge wheels covered by a wider fender. Carbon fiber body work to lighten the load. A power upgrade that could run the Millennium Falcon. What in the name of all things awesome is this?

The SLS AMG Black Series was spied at the Nurburgring, to the mouth watering delight of the car world, including the majority of us who won’t be able to afford the reportedly $500,000 price tag.

But modern marvels don’t come cheap, and this lighter and faster gullwing vehicle should be nothing short of marvelous. While shedding roughly 100 pounds, and cranking on the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V-8, the new Black Series SLS could make as much as 650 horses. Watch out Audi R8 GT!
