With the promise of what’s to come hidden just below some extra-fanciful wrapping, if you look at it right, a spy shot is basically the same as a present.
Because it’s that most wonderful time of the year, and because every member of MBWorld is on our list, we’re gifting you our collection of the best spy shots from the past 12 months, all wrapped up for the holidays.
Back in February, these early shots of the Mercedes-AMG GT made us realize we hated all our Christmas gifts already.
The world just feels like a better place knowing there’s an S-Class convertible zooming around.
Because it’s always nice to think about whooping the BMW X6 M, we can’t get enough of these MLC63/ML63 AMG Coupe spy shots that preview what will eventually be called the GLE63 AMG Coupe.
The W205 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG wagon seduced us like a stripper in these teasing shots from June, but like one of those really high-class strippers you find in Vegas.
The newly facelifted 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS Spy Shots gave us the distinct impression that there’s nothing wrong with getting a “little work” done.
The first Spy Shots of the new C-Class Convertible testing on public roads filled us with hope for the future, at least the future of the baby Benz drop-top, although not so much for the Audi A3 and BMW 2 Series convertibles.
The early shots of the second-generation Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class, now known as the GLC-Class, got us plenty excited, but mostly because it meant the AMG version was creeping ever closer.

We were very stoked to see that the new 2016 C-Class Cabriolet would be taking rear styling cues from the S-Class Coupe. We like pretty, little butts and we cannot lie.
If you don’t feel the Christmas spirit from these first images of the upcoming refresh to the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster all dressed up in red for the holidays, then you don’t deserve the previous nine gifts we just gave you. So we’re taking them back.
