Starting problem

The car started yesterday but today ther was nothing. I do get all the functions when the key is in aux mode.. (lights, door locks, ect..) but when I turn the key there is nothing. I checked the overload fuse to see if the upper fuse has been blown but it was OK.I don't know if that fuse would blow before the relay went. Any ideas on what to check. I did have the battery checked this morning and is at 97%. Could this be the starter??
Thanks

it possibly could be your ignition key switch (tuff) to get to/ but first try to clean battery terminal ends even if you have dash lights check fuses left side engine compartment with relays (BUT MOST OF ALL CHECK OUT LAST)THE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH)UNDER THE SHIFT LEVER CENTER CONSOLE COVER and voltage going in and out of it use a simple volt meter or 12 volt test light oh I for got if you have voltage coming into the starter solenoid then there is the trouble check for simple wire ends off loose (etc) wireing goes fro battery to key switch to relay (sometimes)that's fused then out of ignition switch in the on start position to neutral park safety switch then out to the starter solinoid and starter lots of luck ___this is from a mechanic of 60 years at 79 years old started at 17 years old in the us navy as a submarine sailor (bubble head)lol I never give advicebut felt like doing it today I only take advice

Maybe voltage regulator if you battery isn't getting charged while driving it very well could just be killing itself. I had symptoms similar to this. I also replaced the OVP relay all together and it helped with starts and running in general.
