Idling problem

Hello ,

My 190e shakes a lot when I come to a stop. When I drive it the car is fine this only happens when the car comes to a stop or low speeds. Any advice will be helpful.

Try checking the plugs and plug wires

I had rough idle problems and replaced both...cured the issue!

I would say check your engine/tranny mounts, then maybe replace your spark plugs/wires and air filter and see if that fixes the issue.

I was having all kinds of strange idle issues. I replaced my OVP and it runs and starts much smoother. I have come to find out, the ovp is very easily fried or damaged in these. They don't cost much so definitely worth replacing

OVP is a silver/gray relay behind the battery.
DON'T by this cheap relay's on ebay. It's much better to re-soldering the relay.
I did by a new OVP to my "190K". And as long I did use this with a newer EFI+++ & alarm did I find out that this are no good. Suddenly my alarm starts and the reason was that the relay did go on when it want, somethimes the car didn't stop. I did repair my old relay and everything are ok.
On a stock w201+++ can't you figure out this, only if your battery is empty,
