just discoverd the check oil function what else???
hi guys! i have a 99 model e55 so the old type of cluster gauge and yesterday i dicoverd the check oil function and i find it cool heheheh my question is other than the check oil function what other functions does the gauge has? and alos how to check othe functions? thanks

oh boy i guess our cars is kinda low tech when compared to the 2000+ models ehehehe by the way about the time to service do he have to follow it? how d we reset it? thanks

I have found the check oil function accurate to four ounces. Beyond four ounces produces an "add oil" display.

2000 E55 AMG
For a 2000 E55, and the vehicle in a level position, one begins with the ignition key in the second position. Do not start the vehicle. With your instrument cluster displaying the odometer, press the up arrow twice. This will display the oil level screen, and begin the oil level measuring function. Within ten seconds the display will read: Oil level OK, Add oil level low, or Reduce oil level

To your 99" you need to sit the key in position 2 (not start the engine) & wait 10 - 15 seconds. when the display say "CHECK OIL LEVEL?" you need to push 2 times the "0" button in the instrumment cluster & then say OIL OK, FILL, REMOVE or so.. (you need to have the car in 100% horizontal position)
