Mercedes-Benz Advisor
I received an invitation to become a Mercedes Benz advisor last night :
You are invited to become a member of MB Advisors - a private online community where a select group of customers like you will help shape the future of Mercedes-Benz.
As a member, you'll be able to interact directly with Mercedes-Benz executives and representatives by participating in Polls, Discussions and live, interactive chat Sessions. Your valuable input will help shape future products and technologies, advertising and dealership experiences. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with other owners who share your interests.
Anyone else ever hear of this ?
Nick

This through Gen Benz? That's how I've been able to talk to MB corporate executives and and access their R&D facilities. Pretty cool hookups and swag too through them too. Just received yesterday a $200 gift card as a thank you for talking to their advertising manager lol.

...and I've been a rather active member for a while, created VLOGs for their execs to hear what my demographic has to say... and they even loaned me a new GLK last year for an entire weekend to get my opinion of the NAV+4 UMI system for the US markets...
Its legit and fun.

Hi. Ive been part of it since its inception. It is completely legitimate. They also have another community called Gen Benz. Which is almost the same except it targets a younger generation. Both communities try to give MBUSA some feedback on new, current, and future products and marketing strategies.

Found on mbadvisors.com
"We have a special opportunity for Mercedes-Benz owners and fans between the ages of 21-34 to join Generation Benz, MBUSA’s private online Gen Y community. Similar to MB Advisors, Generation Benz members provide input on topics including future products and technologies, advertising and dealership experiences.
If you know of a friend or family member who might be interested in joining Generation Benz, please share the following link:
www.generationbenz.com/invitation"
The mbadvisors site is a savvy bit of marketing but nothing all too special. Just a bunch of polls, half of which are irrelevant to me. Some below mention gifts, so maybe I'll stick around and see if anything comes around.

Not sure of the criteria, but I've registered both my MBs on the Mercedes-Benz Owners online and provided my email account. Secondly, everytime I take my car in for maintenance, I receive a survey from the dealer to provide feedback on my recent visit. Sometimes it's a survey mailed through the post, sometimes via email - anyways, I try my best to respond to those surveys. I believe they may be using some of these scenarios as part of the selection criteria. Have no way of validating what I just siad, but that's the only way they have my contact info in the database.
