C63 507 AMG DA Car #19
Went to the Dark-Side today &&
1st off I'm still an AMG guy.... and I love my mod'ed clk55-K..... but the wife was getting tired of her 09 C63's rough ride, noisy brakes, rattly rear wind screen etc...... so we wandered off to a BMW dealership to check out the 550i (twin turbo V8).
Today we rolled out with:
2011 550i
Graphite Grey Metallic / Saddle Interior
400HP/450Ft-lbs
6 speed Manual (yes.... this was my influence)
Sport pkg.
I'm still an AMG guy... but to be honest I like my 'old-school' clk more than the c63..... especially since I added Kleemann mods..... it was time for the c63 to go bye bye.
This thing is sooo comfortable for a daily driver.

Congrats on the purchase 
Now for the honesty haha... Bland car, just like the whole current BMW lineup. Nice to see MB take chances with styling instead of regurgitating an already boring, nondescript 3 series into a larger format.

STAGE 1 PERFORMANCE ENGINE SOFTWARE/BOOST UPGRADE (550I ONLY)
The legendary 5 Series has been reincarnated with the F10 chassis and the N63 4.4L V8 turbo motor. The beauty of the turbo motor is its ability to be tuned to make impressive gains just by upgrading the engine software and the N63 motor is no different.
The results of Dinan’s tuning are nothing short of breathtaking, with the added boost and related re-calibration producing a maximum output of 495 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 573 lb-ft torque at 3500 rpm.
The Dinan Performance Engine Software safely increases turbo-boost pressure from the stock 9.8 to 14.0 psi, along with properly retuned fuel mixtures, ignition timing and full map rescaling. In fact, over 2000 lines of code have been addressed, producing substantial increases in power output while maintaining the civility and reliability expected of a Dinan performance product.
With Dinan’s software, your 550i will be capable of achieving its natural top speed as the governor has been removed.
