May buy a Couple
So I am sort of interested in buying a coupe as a 2nd car, but not sure yet. Actually thinking about buying one off of a member on the form. The only thing I am concerned about is how long it will last for considering how its 10 years old with close to 100K on it. On average how long do most coupes last milage and year wise. Any major costs that will be coming up if I buy it? Thanks!

2002 C230 use M111 engine, which are 2.3L supercharged I4 and they sound like a lawnmower, they sound really bad so that's why Mercedes came up with a M271 engine for 2003-2006 for W203, but M111 were first introduced back in 1994 and was used in SLK and the prevoius C230 sedan, they are really reliable compare to M271 now days other than that they are great, the car is small but can haul 8 peoples and drives really well hardly any powertrain issue other than minor problems

Because its a nice car thats budget friendly. I was considering getting a 99 honda civic or a 96 civic hatch back, or a 1997 Acura integra. All those cars would have cost me a close amount to the coupe I want to get. Even though mercedes have more costs then those cars I think it is worth it. I have always liked the C coupes, I was originally going to buy one before I got my sedan.

Cars been myn only for a few months but before that It was my dads, he had it for 2 years and put about 25K on it. Only costs it ever was brakes and rotors which any car need new ones after a while, 2 oil changes which prices were pretty average, and a new seat belt. Not to bad if you ask me
