yes very clearly. And when you switch it on, it defoggs very fast...

the window will clear as well when not switched on, but that's just because of the wind, and it takes longer.

they way you describe it, it seems they forgot to install the heating,
which seems very weird & even impossible...
Let me clarify - the heating element is in the glass. In other cars, assuming the window is fogged up, you see clear lines appear around the element when it is working.
Further testing last night seems to indicate that mine is not working. There is a 40A fuse in the trunk but it is kind of hard to get to due to the trunk liner. I need to go to the dealer anyway to get them to look at my ridiculously squeaky windows so they can take care of the defogger at the same time!
