Wagon part out 300TE W124 1988
Parting a 1988 300TE wagon. Most parts available. Engine runs smooth, all fuel injection parts working and available. Does have a horrific rod knock so the short block is going to be toast. Starter, alternator, SLS pump, and everything else that bolts to the engine is available. Trans condition unknown except that it goes forward and reverse in my driveway (will drive Sunday or Monday to storage, report on trans then). Its white with red leather interior, full functioning sunroof and has a third row seat (leather needs cleaning). Ok, drove it for a short time yesterdayday. Trans shifts 2-3 fine but holds 2 longer than needed. Unsure if its an adjustment or more. Goes into reverse fine, no delay. Never got to 4th, tried kickdown and the broken rod decided to make itself visible through it's new hole in the oil pan. That was the end of the test drive. Its now in storage, never to run again. Lots of good parts however, let me know what you need.
