Dyno Numbers
Did my first dyno ever today and this is what they gave me. do these numbers look right to you guys? 2012 coupe performance package i have a ECU tune and akrapovic cat back.
That is a low for an uncorrected Dyno on a Dynojet. If that was a mustang dyno fine. I would do a few more pulls for a good baseline number.
By the way....your smoothing is set to 4
and it is uncorrected
if it was SAE corrected and a smoothing of 5 your numbers would be even lower.
Sorry, but you have a bad tune. A stock P31 should without a tune dynos better than your car
one more thing. what is the factor used on this dyno?
I swear to god if that was my car I would be smacking my head on the wall and have my tuner answer some serious questions

min thokik. Good luck in school buddy ow when your back home shoot me a massage and ill be more then happy to take you on a ride.
You also have to remember that you are running a header tune without the headers so its very rich and the numbers will come up once the headers are installed. Hang in there and be patient. You'll have the power soon enough.
lo3a. it sure can get hot around here

im gona try a few other dyno's and take an average. ill keep you guys posted
Also, not sure I agree with Keith about the header tune causing it to run rich since your AFR curve looks spot on tapering to 12.0 at redline. I suppose you might want to go 0.5 points leaner, but I doubt that would close all of the gap.

Why would you even dyno the car???
I am going to get a Weistec super charger tune with no blower then dyno my car and wonder why the numbers are low... Really??
Dyno's are only good for comparing mods on the same day... Go to the track...
I ran my car on a Dyno with a Renntech 510hp tune and I got 363HP....That's 442 Crank HP.. Thats what the car is stock.. So IF I listened to a guy like Jacob, Id be smashing my head into the wall and *****ing at my tuner for no reason.. Because the next day I went to the track and run 119mph... up 4-5mph from my best stock time and right on par with a 4000lbs car running about 500hp.

The reason behind it if you read and listened to my post is dynos suck and take your car to the track. My dyno numbers blow, but my track numbers were spot on.. Reasoning behind it?? Who knows.
I know that they dynoed a SL63 and he was 2hp higher than me.. So we are both putting out the same hp and a SL63 is rated for 510hp ish.. So my tune was bang on and the guys dyno is not calibrated right.

Well, I guess you did not need my advice and you already switched to OEtuning.

and by the way, Which dyno were you making your runs on? (seems a dynamics dynomometer to me)
I'm just saying I know about dynojets a bit. and with his factors and conditions the numbers are low. Any person who understands the dynamics of a dynojet would agree with me.
Good luck.
even with the header tune. The ECU will adjust itself to the necessary ignition and eliminate knocking. NO Problem! I had that issue once.

I never ran a MHP tune before. Just renntech and now OE header file. There was too many things going on with MHP when I got the tune so I just went with OE... Otherwise I probably would have tried his tune as its been working good for other guys.
I don't care who's behind the product as long as it performs like advertised.

Oh and by the way, When yoiu said that an SL63 made 2hp more than you did, I can say that there was something wrong with your tune.
The SL63's are known to dyno less than C63's runing with the same crank number due the MCT transmission wet clutch sucking up more horsepower.
The drivetrain loss on the MCT is more than that of a dual clutch at about %5-6
The SL63 US spec is rated @ 518 HP.
I understand the OP also has the same MCT transmission. Still his numbers are low for the factors and conditions given. My SL63 dynoed 465rwhp on more conservative conditions when it was naturally aspirated, I was runinin with an SAE correction and a smoothing of 5, check it out (by the way look at how small the fan in front of my car is):

Bro,
This is the difference between a real tune......and a BS tune

So stock vs stock SL63 makes less rwhp then c63?
