00 C230K - What transmission do I have
My tranny is makin giant clicking under heavy load (especially in 1st) and I think its the tranny. I am looking a transmission. What is my model? I think its a 722.6 but wanna find one that will work with my car. What is my exact model 722.6XX or what trannys will work with it. I just wanna get by as cheap as I can due to the car being so old.

The XX numbers (722.6XX) dont matter?? Cuz with the info you kindly gave me I'm planning on finding a vehicle that fits the criteria you gave and scoop it up.
Also are there any from a V6 that will go in no problem that you know of? (just to give me more options)

Specifically you have the 722.605, but as long as the bellhousing matches you should be fine, for the most part they denote different slight changes. The V8 and V12 ones are stronger and wont bolt up though. As far as I know the 4 cylinder transmission all have the same gear ratios.
