Head Gasket
Working on a 1995 c280. The heads had to be shaved and the machine shop said that it needed a "thicker" head gasket due to how much had to be shaved off. I've called all the usual suspects around Las Vegas and nobody has a solution for me. Anyone know where to get a "thicker" head gasket?

Did the machine shop say how much the compression would be raised? Just had my 96 c280 done also. The shop said maybe 1/4 to 1/2 compression rise. So from 10.1 to say 10.25/10.50. Not for sure on doubling up the gaskets. Check on a copper made one. Will probably be pretty pricey.
