Sad Day....My other Ride.....
the accord had minor scratch's on the rear bumper....... but my van front end is completely busted.....need your emotional support guys......my van was/is?? a 2005 with ~95k miles XLE LTD completely loaded with the only option missing it being an AWD.......color matched side running board and all...yes I had also installed a remote start on it...it has the Ipod connecting harness installed as well....HID's in the fog lamps...Dual port rear hitch with wiring harness....brand new rear suspension......brand new battery.......COMPLETELY PAID OFF ........I have attached some pictures for you all to see........damn these old people who don't know how to drive..............aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......I have so many questions flooding my mind right now....you all are like my CAR family so I need your help with all the questions.....
from what I see the following things are damaged:
Bottom Radiator support frame
Top Radiator support frame
Front bumper
All front sensors
Laser guided curise control
Both Fendors
Both Head lights and its support frame(these are the motorised adjustable headlights)
Fog Light Assembly
Air intake
Battery support bracket / frame
Hood
Complete Radiator/condensor assembly had been pushed inwards towards the engine
Complete front end is busted.....
Can it all be fixed and bought back to OEM standard......how will this effect the resale value of my Van...
I am wishing for it to be totaled......if some one on here can help me out and let me know what will be the residual value of my van I would really appreciate it......
If it can be bought back to its original glory I dont mind driving it as it is all paid off......
It is still drivable....dose not pull or anything...no damage to the alignment of the wheels from what I can tell from a visual and the small drive that I did to pull the van off of the main street onto a side street....
Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh............
just got the timing belt job done.............aaaahhhhhhhh.......it hurts....it hurts.....

Thanks for your support........

Sorry to see the results, but the car did what it was supposed to do, crumple and save the passenger box.
Since the car's now 8-9 years old, there's a reasonable chance it will be totalled.
If you're replacing entire panels, then there's no reason for it to not feel and look just as it did before the accident; I don' think that 20mph is going to cause frame damage or anything of a serious nature, other than to your wallet or insurance rates.

Were you able to drive it away? If so, or if the other damage was something like a busted radiator and not frame damage, the question would be are you willing to pay because I don't think it would be totaled.
.....ofcourse besides my deductable??please clarify...
