c200 w202 electric front windows failure
Over the past few years I have had a constant problem with the electric windows and never seems to have been properly solved.
I have replaced both front door control units also and still no cigar.
I have 'normalised' the windows constantly by moving them down holding for 5 secs, then the same for up then holding 5 secs. I would do this after pulling out the associated fuse front drivers door (in boot fuse), front passenger door in the bonnet fuse.
Annoying thing is, its either one or sometimes both may just stop working.
On DAS I came up with the following fault code results, does anyone know any solutions?
DCM1 Door control module front driver side
B1113 Driver seat adjustment switch S91/2 (I do not have electric front seats though)
DCM2 Door control module front passenger side
B1000 control module N69/2
B1010 voltage supply undervoltage N69/2
B1520 power windows M10/4
- 001 actuation, relay signal >25s
B1520 power windows
- 006 M10/4 signal hall sensor 2, faulty
B1111 Front passenger seat adjustment switch S92/2, S5 S8 S9 signal >25s
B1112 Front passenger seat adjustment switch S92/2, S3 S4 S7 signal >25s
B1113 Front passenger seat adjustment switch S92/2, S1 S2 S6 signal >25s
B1114 No fault text specified
car is a 1998 W202 C200, later spec.

Have you looked at the window control module located behind the battery. Atleast that is where mine is at on my 1996 c280. In the trunk and right behind the battery. In reading and a lot of searching there are jumpers on the boards that burn out and are easily replaced. Because my driver window has and still is having up issues. Hope this helps. Also try club 202. They are a club geared toward the w202's..

Mine is the later spec so it does not have the control unit for the windows in the trunk. Personally I think the older spec is better, less to go wrong imo. When they revised it in 1997 it seems to have get so much gremlins. thanks at club 202

This might not help but it's worth a try. My C230 was doing some weird things with the windows as well, and after swapping switches - and tracing wires - it would still act up. What ended up working is only moving the switch partially when trying to operate the windows. When I pushed the switch all the way to the detent (so to speak) the windows didn't work. If I gently move the switch part of the way down - they work fine - don't ask me why - but haven't had a problem since I started doing this.

I did find out the problem to this, it was the rear window motor units corrupt. These send an error to the front, making the front ones keep stopping after some time.
I replaced both rear window motor units (which has a relay part in it) and so far after 7 months it has not had a problem.
