If you get locked out of your car with a dead battery, here is what you can do
I came back from a 3 month trip, and the battery was flatter than pee on a plate.
Obviously, the doors were locked, so that was the first hurdle, and the trunk wouldn't open to get at the battery.
My only stroke of luck was I left the drivers window down about 3 to 4 inches before I took the trip, and taped a small strip of plastic over the opening. I did it as a safety precaution for just such an event. I managed to get the door open, but no trunk release.
Scouring the internet for a solution (my Valet key was lost a long time ago)
I saw a diagram that solved it.
Under the hood, directly in front of the fuse box is a small black box. Pop the cover off, and there is a collection of battery wires with 2 terminals.
With cables from another car. clamp onto the terminals, and ground to the frame. That will supply enough power to activate the trunk switch to access the battery. It won't give you power to start the car, but at least you can get at the battery.
Just thought I would share that, as searching the web showed me that I wasn't the only one who encountered the problem.
I now have a Valet key on order :-)

The trick is leaving the side window open a bit if you going to be away for awhile, and have a Valet key (how stupid can I get on that one)
How are things in the UAE ? I keep seeing your replies, so you must be well and active.
