Ha, an old topic dug up from the grave. Anyways, it caught my eye because the other day while driving through one of the more... how shall I say this... ghetto parts of my city I saw like 3 "modded" C-classes in a row. All 3 had those ugly *** chrome kits from fleabay and tinted windows. That was it. One of them had the old frosted lights but an updated 05+ grille (similar to me) but that's as far as it went.
Then, when I had almost lost all hope, I saw an very tastefully modded S-class (gorgeous car). Debadged, nice set of rims on it, tints, etc. At least not everyone around here is a complete tard.

Haha, not really. I've seen your car like twice and you were working and didn't really have more than 6 seconds to talk. Me, you, and LuxuryC240 should get together and get some nice Brilliant silver C pictures (especially since you two took them before and didn't even invite my stock-***).

Here is Jacksonville Florida there are plenty of c class all the way to Sl series. But C class is the norm. I really do not see too many modded ones though. Of course, mine is not modded (YET) either.

I live in Bloomington, IL there are no modded benz's here. There are a lot of Benz's & BMW's, but no mods. The only vehicle that gets mods are trucks.
Also, I have an 8 year old daughter, and when she's ready to drive in 8 years, I plan on giving her my wife's '06 c230, as long as it holds up for that long. I have a 4 year old son as well, and he will probably get whatever I get after my lease expires on my '07 Avalanche.
If they show that they are responsible with their cars as well getting good grades, I can see myself getting them nice new cars as college graduation/wedding gifts. As a parent you want your child to be responsible adults, but what is the use of hoarding all your wealth until you die. You want your kids to have luxuries that you didn't have when you were there age. I think the way you raise your kids, and the values you instill in them is what is important. Blanket statements or preceptions that kids that drive nice cars are spoiled, are not always correct. There is a lot more involved with parenting than making your kids drive a ****box.
