Steering Wheel Radio Control
Is there any way to change it so the steering wheel radio up/down buttons jump from preset station to preset station and not from one station on the dial to the other?? This is driving me nuts. Every time I want to go to another preset station I have to reach aaaalllllll the waaaaay over to the phone keypad.

Is it? I just spent 15 minutes looking and I can't find the setting. I can change miles to Km, daytime running lights, etc, but there's nothing there to change the button's function. What, exactly, do I have to do?

is SOLD
it cannot be done with the 05 and 06 models. it might be done with the 01-04 models, but unsure how. my salesperson told me they took out this feature starting in 05 because older adults were getting confused on how to use this option.

That ability was removed starting with the 05 models, because it confused the geezers. Same reason they returned the dipstick, geezers don't think electronics are here to stay, and reading the oil level from the comfort of the drivers seat is just crazy.

I'm probably a geezer to most of you (41 years old). I don't know about the radio controls, but many people like to change their own oil and pulling it out the dip stick tube with a vac system is really easy and clean. I'm glad my newly acquired 2006 C230 has a dip stick. Now I need to buy a vac system!
