All of the replacement parts suppliers tell me that their LF fenders won't fit my c230 sport. I can't find in the aftermarket any info on what the differences are, or if there's a mod that can make them fit. Are the AMG fenders THAT different?? And I've searched the thread references for info on that w/o any luck.

I always thought the fenders are identical between the non AMG and AMG models for pre-facelift (MY2002-2004) vehicles. It's common for people to swap the non AMG bumpers with the C32 ones.

I assume you're not looking at C55 fenders, which wasn't available for MY2004. Those ones would be physically different.

Yes - should be all the same - make sure they’re not quoting/selecting by the “belt-line trim name plate” …
