Thanks guys, these are just temporary flares till I do a sheet metal liberty walker style kit plus going to do a custom front molded bumper and do a custom rear diffuser. With the impacts I don't know if I wanna mold to flares or completely remove and mold them smooth. My lips are bigger than my inner barrel so I can have inner clearance just in case I to need to camber. Front barrels are 5" and rears are 5.5"
Decided to do color change as well.

I dunno, w/ the recent influx of liberty walk/rocket bunny style bolt on fenders, i almost feel like ya should go down that route. Regardless of what ya choose, im sure it'll be awesome.

If you are a fan of the C55 look, then you might want to consider upgrading to one before the custom work since the front end and the side skirts are identical to the clk. Most of the rocket bunny kit would fit and would just have to custom fit the rear to the your bumper.

no i dont want to buy the kit, gotta go all and make my own lol and do my own flare and style to the look. I like the liberty style more where they fenders cut off high to show how wide the wheels are. I already have it in my mind how I want things.

It's the factory amg bumper 06-07 came standard with it.
It's a stud conversion. There's a lot of companies that have them. You'll want 12x1.5 thread.

Chop chop chop! Stoked to see the finished product! You've gotta be close! Last update was the front fender getting the chop, now this is the rear. Tires + air and you're done?

sorry tru been feeling under the weather lately and havent had a chance to really do much work out in the garage. I did start on the trunk liner project and retrofitting my headlights since I can do that sitting down inside. but I'll have the mock up of the flares on and have sitting on the wheels to see the overall look of what it'll look like this week when I get off work. hopefully I wont need too much camber in the front. still have to test to see my turning radius for the wheels too lol I know I'll probably have to remove the washer reservoir bottle or try and relocate it some how.
