Engine not starting, engine still clicking after trying to start engine
I'm a nubee to the forum and need your experience. I have a c240 and just recently the engine is not starting. I tried to start the engine and can here it trying to click over but nothing happens. After trying to start the engine, I release the key and the clicking still goes until I remove the key from the ignition entirely. All the other electrical works and have done the usual required maintenance as recommended.
your help is greatly appreciated...thanks.

Can you record the sound?
Does the engine try to turn over or is there just the clicking from the starter?
These cars have a crank-till-start feature, you actually don't have to hold the key in the "start" position for the car to crank.
From experience with other cars, clicking might mean the battery voltage is too low to drive the starter. So I'd check that. (Either use the voltmeter or google w203 dyno mode)

Thanks for the info...I'll have to record the sound later today. I forgot to mention that it did turn over once (for a quick second) but quickly stop after that. As of now, it only clicks when trying to start the car.

VVF has hit the nail on the head. That is the crank till start trying to operate.
Either low voltage or a cooked starter/solenoid is likely. If you can hear it clicking then the starter relay is operational.
Have your battery properly load tested.

Just so you understand the process.

Starter relay is in Cavity S of the front SAM.
If no joy try jumping direct from +ve battery terminal to starter solenoid.
