I have a 2006 c230 sport 2.5L with about 82K miles. It just recently started making this strange rattle/clicking noise when it is idling or at a complete stop. The sound appears to be coming from the passenger side rear end. You can hear it from the driver seat but when you are sitting in the back on the right side it is very clear and when you listen by the wheel it is also very clear and underneath the car. I was wondering if you guys knew anything about this? I am hoping to get some feedback before having to take it to the dealership and pay $300 to have them tell me what it is lol. Thanks!

It's sometimes the EECS purge system but usually happens only on W209.
