BTW, here is the KillerPancake approved cam alignment tool (worked like a charm!!). I'm not a mechanic and I did my own timing chain. Any indie who claims to know Benz should have no issue doing this job and be happy to take some $ for it.

NEED A PART SHOWN

I am looking for the camshaft vvt oiler shown with the two crescent wrenches holding them. any ideas, my son's 2005 C230 has a broken off one on the drivers side. only need this part and the timing chain.

Is this the tubing thing popping up you are referring to? has been happening to me and causing a lot of rough idle, Now I have a lean condition and must have a vacuum leak somewhere else.
